During his Class of 2015 commencement speech, Professor Khalili told graduates that for success ‘the key is to listen to others with an open mind and an open heart, always willing to learn from them’. He added ‘try always to be a force of harmony and unity in the world…Remember, no child is born to hate. We are born as human beings first and foremost, and religion is what we inherit’.
